Respect for KPL’s drainage experience has led to unique opportunities such as in the conceptual design of alternative outlets for and estimating the cost of closing the nearly 300 agricultural drainage wells in the state of Iowa and in designing solutions for and estimating the cost of dealing with drain tile crossings for a large natural gas main planned to bring Alaskan North Slope gas across the states of Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois to Chicago.
