Conduct percolation tests, determine loading from restaurant and neighboring convenience store and gas station.

Design a septic tank system that is compatible with ground conditions and that meets IDNR and County requirements.

Work with individual property owners to determine location of septic tanks, effluent pumps and drain field.

Work with property owner to obtain property and maintain required separation distances for waste treatment system.

The system has been designed and has been approved by IDNR and Clay County. Bids have been received for construction.

Construction will take place in late 2008.

System will eliminate further discharges to county drain tile systems.
