Mr. Krepps’ responsibility is general administrative and organizational consulting. Research, evaluation and analysis of administrative problems to determine effective solutions and improvement for your organization is his objective. Increases in productivity, quality and effectiveness of your organization are major goals for Mr. Krepps.
Experience
Since 1966, Clarence has held various administrative government positions. Experience with administrative organizations range from a Logistical Supply Specialist for the U.S. Army, a State University Inventory Controller for the Vice President of Business Affairs, the City Manager of Clarinda, Iowa, the City Administrator of Storm Lake, Iowa and the City Manager of Kalispell, Montana, to his current position assisting governmental agencies in all phases of government operations.
During his 33 years of administration, Mr. Krepps sought and received through grant writing over $14,000,000 in grants. Grants received run the broad spectrum of CDBG, REAP, UDAG, Natural Resources, Criminal Justice, FEMA, recreational facility grants, historical preservation, DOT, HUD, EPA, Aviation, and funded employee grants.
Projects
Projects/programs that have been compiled, structured and administered under Mr. Krepps’ guidance includes: Law Enforcement Centers, 911 organization and dispatch centers, a 26 ballfield complex, homeless shelter expansion and historical renovation to a school for use as museum, wastewater treatment plant construction, two major upgrades to water plants, water and sewer system expansion and upgrades, city building renovation, golf course administration, privatization (operation and maintenance) of wastewater treatment plant, transportation system improvements, cable franchises, airport expansions, tax increment district funding, tax abatement programs, economic development programs, strategic planning, and the regular daily operations of organizations with resources ranging from 14 employees to over 200 employees with budgets of $250,000 to $29,000,000.
Recruitment
During his career as a professional Administrator and Consultant Clarence has been involved in processing over 300 municipal positions for placements within city government and other agencies. These placements include city managers/administrators, police chiefs, city attorneys, human resource, directors, public works directors, finance directors, executive directors, as well as laborers, skilled operators, and interns. Organizational analysis, position evaluations, and facilitation of search processes for all positions is a service that provides our clients with certified employees, and leaders for their future growth and direction.
Mr. Krepps joined Kuehl and Payer, Ltd. in January, 1999. Clarence’s mission is to provide assistance to public agencies that need to outsource certain administrative tools or projects. In addition, Clarence will assist private individuals or groups in dealing with public agencies and the regulations that are complex and, at times, difficult to understand.
