Jeff has been involved in many aspects of surveying since joining Kuehl & Payer, Ltd. in January 1993 after graduation from college. Jeff’s schooling combined the principles of surveying with hands on training in the use of total station instruments, electronic data collectors and computer aided drafting systems. Jeff continues to utilize this training in the performance of the duties with Kuehl & Payer, Ltd.

While performing boundary surveys, American Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, subdivisions, construction surveys and drainage ditch surveys, Jeff has served as project manager, party chief, instrument person and rod person. Jeff has used computer aided drafting systems to prepare the necessary documents for these projects.

ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys

Utilizing the standard requirements adopted jointly by the American Land Title Association and the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, Jeff has prepared numerous ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys. These are a very detailed and specific type of survey used to graphically show the relationships between deed lines, occupation lines, improvements, easements and encumbrances, visible encroachments and noncompliances.
