The Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa presented Kuehl and Payer Ltd. and the City of Ida Grove with the “Smoothness Award” in the reconstruction and resurfacing of the Municipal Airport Runway.  The project included reconstruction of the earth shoulders, milling, placement of an HMA leveling course and an HMA surface course to Runway 11-29 (50 foot by 3,180 feet).
